The “Harley Quinn” team gave fans a very quick tease of Season 3 during the DC FanDome event. It was announced that the third season will be premiering sometime in 2022 on HBO Max.

While there was no finished footage to present, fans still got to see multiple animatics from the new season. The first saw Harley (voiced by Kaley Cuoco) and Poison Ivy (voiced by Lake Bell) embarking on what they dub the “Eat, Bang, Kill” tour of Gotham City.

There are also quick looks at characters like King Shark, Clayface, Jim Gordon, and Dr. Psycho, as well as new characters, including one who appears to be Swamp Thing. Bane also makes an appearance, declaring he has come for revenge against Harley’s gang. And what “Harley Quinn” content would be complete without an appearance by Kite Man?

Kaley Cuoco has filed for divorce from Karl Cook.

The Flight Attendant star, 35, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, PEOPLE confirms, the same day she and Cook, 30, announced their split after three years of marriage.

In a joint statement shared exclusively with PEOPLE, the former couple said, “Despite a deep love and respect for one another, we have realized that our current paths have taken us in opposite directions.”

“We have both shared so much of our journey publicly so while we would prefer to keep this aspect of our personal life private, we wanted to be forthcoming in our truth together. There is no anger or animosity, quite the contrary,” the statement continued.

“We have made this decision together through an immense amount of respect and consideration for one another and request that you do the same in understanding that we will not be sharing any additional details or commenting further,” they added.

Cuoco, an avid equestrian, started dating Cook, also an equestrian, in 2016. They got engaged on her birthday in November 2017.

The pair tied the knot on June 30, 2018, in a ceremony at a horse stable near San Diego, California, with close friends and family in attendance.

This June, Cuoco and Cook celebrated their three-year wedding anniversary on their respective Instagram pages.

“NY, June 30th, 2016 is the year we met,” the Big Bang Theory alum captioned a black-and-white throwback photo of the two on a New York City sidewalk.

“2 years to the day before we got married and now 3 years married!” Cuoco wrote at the time. “Why have you stayed married to me for so long?! I’m sincerely impressed @mrtankcook lol I love you oh so much you have no idea…happy anniversary!!!”

In a post of his own, Cook wrote, “I agree @kaleycuoco I am just as amazed it’s been three years, feel like just a flash. I love you so much and I can’t wait for a million more years!!”

It was announced that Kaley Cuoco is set to star in and produce the film Role Play for Studiocanal and The Picture Company.

Kaley Cuoco’s feature dance card continues to expand in the wake of the success of her HBO Max series The Flight Attendant with Studiocanal and The Picture Company’s stylish action thriller Role Play, penned by Seth Owen. Cuoco is in negotiations to star and produce Role Play, which follows a young married couple whose life turns upside down after secrets are revealed about each other’s past.

The screenplay, I hear, is said to have a franchise-able hook. Owen also wrote the 2015 Ridley Scott produced sci-fi thriller Morgan starring Kate Mara and Anya Taylor-Joy. A search for a filmmaker is underway. Studiocanal will fully finance Role Play for a 2022 production start date after Cuoco wraps season 2 of Flight Attendant.

Kaley Cuoco and Pete Davidson are in negotiations to headline the romantic comedy movie Meet Cute directed by Alex Lehmann. Deadline Hollywood reports that the deal has not yet closed, and describes the project:

wildly inventive deconstruction of the romantic comedy built around the question: What would you do if you could travel to your loved ones’ past, heal their traumas, fix their problems, and change them into the perfect partner?

Cuoco will play Sheila, while Davidson will portray Gary in the pic. Noga Pnueli penned the script. Akiva Goldsman, Gregory Lessans, and Rachel Reznick of Weed Road Pictures will produce with Santosh Govindaraju and Dan Reardon of Convergent Media.

Starring on “The Big Bang Theory” made Cuoco one of the most successful actors in Hollywood — her 12-season run made her one of the highest-paid actors in the history of TV, with the cast each bringing in $1 million an episode from seasons eight through 12 — but it also confined her to a very specific type of sitcom audience. She had no idea where she would go next after “Big Bang,” but something told her that if she wanted to pivot, she would have to go out and create it for herself.

Which is exactly what she did with a little show called “The Flight Attendant,” which she discovered browsing the internet one late night and which turned into a hit HBO Max series she starred in, executive produced, and for which she was subsequently nominated for two Golden Globes. Emmys, it’s your move.

“I think people were interested in the fact that I built this from the ground-up, that this was my project from the beginning,” Cuoco says of being seen in a new light since the show came out. “I think that got a lot of people’s attention and they respected that. They accepted the tone, they accepted this new path for me. But I do believe that them hearing my story over the last few years of how I got the book and how I got this thing going, I felt like I earned a lot of, I don’t know, there was this mutual respect between me and other actors and my fans. It was just, it was incredibly nice and I felt like I had this warm welcome into a whole new career that I didn’t even know was there.”

When “The Big Bang Theory” ended in 2019, Cuoco was advised to take the summer off and relax a bit, which was the one thing she knew she did not want to do.
